Edu Support Vending was founded by Michael Rock after recognising a simple but recurring challenge within schools—students arriving to class without the writing tools they need to participate fully in learning.
What appears to be a small problem can result in interrupted lessons, lost instructional time, and unnecessary barriers to student participation. Recognising this need led to the development of the National Educational Readiness Pilot (NERP), a sustainable programme designed to provide students with convenient access to essential writing tools directly within their schools.
Today, Edu Support Vending continues to develop practical educational solutions through strategic partnerships with schools, corporate organisations, and community stakeholders, with a vision of expanding student readiness initiatives throughout Barbados and, ultimately, the wider Caribbean.
